
Various "AMVs": for Gilgamesh's fights throughout the franchise have been uploaded to YouTube as well. There are also several fan-made blogs dedicated to the Fate Gilgamesh, such as MeanGilgamesh, AskGilgamesh, MotherfuckingKingofHeroes, as well as others. On "Tumblr": there are various posts tagged under "Gilgamesh", a vast majority of which are related to the Fate incarnation of the character. In late 2011, a website dedicated to both the historical Gilgamesh as well as the Fate adaptation, titled King of Heroes, was launched. As of August 2015 the video has over 783,000 views.

On October 12th, 2010, YouTuber Kronozs Nanaya uploaded the final fight scene from Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2010) in which Gilgamesh battles main protagonist Shirou Emiya (shown below). On May 14th, 2007, niconico user コメントを禁止されています uploaded a compilation of various clips featuring Gilgamesh with a live rendition of the song "The Ecstasy of Gold" playing in the background (shown below).

He later appeared in the anime adaptations of Fate/stay night (2005) and Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2010), as well as ufotable's renditions of Fate/Zero (2011-2012) and Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014-2015). Gilgamesh first appeared as a character in the 2004 visual novel Fate/stay night as one of the main antagonists. He is considered one of the series' main antagonists, especially in the Unlimited Blade Works route for the original game. Gilgamesh is a character from the 2004 visual novel Fate/stay night and its subsequent sequels.
